We made yeast bread! This is a great activity to do with children. Watching the yeast come to life is just fascinating. The kids thought it was really exciting to see little bursts of bubbles pop to the surface. And kneading, oh my! Some of the most rambunctious kids were completely calm, in a sort of "kneading meditation." The most demure children, upon realizing that they could knead with lots of exhuburace (slapping the dough onto the work surface with great force) got some giggles out!
