Yesterday we went to the Piney Run Nature Center for some yoga lessons with Lindsay from Mountain High Yoga. She is a fantastic children's instructor, using beanie babies for breathing practice, freeze "yoga" to keep them interested, and animal poses. The children especially liked the snake pose (where they got to hiss once in position) and the star pose (where they got to twinke their fingers). We know some of the chaperoning parents were interested in more classes, which is why there is a link above. Feel free to create a club of your own! The yurt is absolutely beautiful and provides such a warm, soothing atmosphere for all. The naturalist was very entertaining. He took us dipping for frogs in the lake, held and owl, and even let us hold a corn snake!
