This week we were blessed with some beautiful spring weather. Ms. Marie's students painted pots and are preparing to plant peas next week. The paperwhite bulbs in Ms. Melodie's class have fully sprouted and some are even producing flowers! The Book Mobile came on Tuesday, and the kids were so excited. The last time it was scheduled to come, the bus broke down on the way to school. Colin's mom also brought a big bag of Dr. Seuss hats to celebrate his birthday with. (Thank you!)
The most exciting part of the week was most certainly the arrival of a lost bunny rabbit. He or she is very calm and gentle, but since it was a stray domesticated rabbit we have not allowed the children to touch it until we are certain it's completely healthy. We've scheduled a visit to the vet for Monday, so we'll get it all up to date on de-worming and find out its gender. Then, we'll have to pick a name!
