Felted Soap

Casey from Breezy Willow Farm brought some of her mom's handmade soap balls for the children. She also brought some of her sheep's beautifully dyed wool. All of the colors had been made using natural plant dye like tumeric, black beans, cabbage, and pokeweed. The soap smelled incredible and immediately calmed the children with its lavender scent. Even the teachers wanted to take a morning nap! The kids worked diligently to rub the felt over the surface of the soap, wetting it as they went along. The classroom has never smelled so soothing! Felted soap is so useful since it completely eliminates the need for a washcloth. I have a feeling we'll be making more someday...
