This year's Garden Party was a huge success! Thank you to everyone for coming out and helping the kids plant their garden. A big thank you to Grace Smith's dad for donating all of the plants. He started them for us from seed in February and cared for them until they grew large. Another thank you to several more parents who donated plants like mung beans, carrots, radishes, and cucumbers. We are so excited to watch our garden grow this year! Thanks to Max's mom, our scarecrow had a wardrobe update, so hopefully he'll keep the birds at bay.
We were so happy to see many old faces. Many of our old graduates came this year, including kids from our very first class of Ava Wanas students. Many of them are almost as tall as Ms. Marie! Time flies!
